We use the word queering to mean discovering nuance and subtlety, and courageously choosing to live into our own unique paths rather than shrink to accommodate ways of being we may have inherited, or have been systemically conditioned to accept.

​At humhum we approach dating and relating as a doorway to more liberation. We can wake up by showing up to our experiences with curiosity and intention. We can pay attention to what pains us and, what nourishes us, and learn to make choices with agency.

If you’re just exploring dating as a practice, or have been practicing this way for a while, we welcome you to come connect in community around the vulnerability and empowering qualities of approaching relationship as a path to liberation. Listening to others experiences might help illuminate areas of resonance or spark new ideas. And sharing your vulnerable heart to be witnessed in community is its own kind of magic. We will come together reflect on what it means to date with a liberative frame with the support of a reflection prompt, and then have the opportunity to both share our experiences and be witnessed as well as practice active listening with one another.
