Shame Resilience in Dating and Relationships

Join Ryushin Hart, LCSW, and humhum for a 4-part workshop series on Shame Resilience in Dating and Relationships.

This empowering and transformative workshop series will support you to develop essential skills for shame resilience. Shame can impact our mental health, relationships, and overall well-being. By cultivating shame resilience, we heal past wounds, and experience more freedom, authenticity and confidence within ourselves and in our relationships.

Through mindfulness, discourse, interactive discussions, group activities, and experiential exercises, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how shame works and originates, and how to navigate it with skill, courage, and compassion.

The workshop provides a safe container to explore experiences and emotions related to shame. We will uncover the roots of shame and challenge the shame narratives that hold us back from living in our full power through empathic dialogue. We will explore the connection between shame, vulnerability, and authenticity, and put shame resilience into practice, effectively navigating shame-inducing situations when they arise.

What you’ll learn, and practice with:

  1. Understanding the nature and impact of shame

  2. Exploring shame triggers and the shame spiral

  3. Learn and practice shame resilience skills

  4. Cultivate self-compassion, empathy, vulnerability and authenticity

  5. Challenge shame narratives and negative self-beliefs

  6. Practice mindfulness

  7. Building healthy and supportive relationships

Whether you have personally struggled with shame or work with individuals who are impacted by it, this workshop offers invaluable insights and practical techniques to navigate and overcome shame. Join us on this transformative journey towards shame resilience, healing, and growth. Together, we will create a compassionate community where shame loses its power, and authenticity and self-acceptance thrive.
